The mission of Dave’s Heat Pumps is to be a leader in its regional market of mini-split heat pumps, VRF, and mechanical ventilation system design, installation, and related service, by means of an exceptional reputation and an unfailing policy of quality customer service. We believe the customer is our most valuable asset, and we will work to achieve a positive, life-long relationship with our customers and building contractors based on the highest standards of conduct and ethics.
WHO WE ARE
Our start in the mini-split heat pump trade began in 2004 as a part of the home air conditioner line of products and services that we have offered since 1977. We began with a few installations sprinkled throughout our service area, and by 2006, heat pumps started becoming a feasible cooling and supplemental heating option in Maine’s unique climate. Dave’s expanded the focus from refrigeration service to include heat pump installations, looking to provide the same quality sales and service that Dave’s Appliance had provided for decades prior in Central Maine.
Almost 20 years later, the Dave’s Appliance Heat Pump Division has installed thousands of high-efficiency systems across the State of Maine, and grown to a team of more than 30 sales, service, and installation technicians dedicated to ensuring your needs are met, now as Dave’s Heat Pumps! With the increased national popularity of heat pump products and services, it is our small-town integrity, responsive service, and competitive buying power that distinguish us from the rest.
We are a 2nd and 3rd generation family-owned and operated HVAC contractor who takes a lot of pride in our top-notch designs and installations, as well as attention to service after the sale. We operate with the same integrity as our founders, David and Denise Ketchen, and strive to add comfort, affordability, and savings to our clients’ annual energy costs.
